I had a problem with Sidesync not working properly with my S8 and Windows 8. The issue is I also have a Windows 10 machine and sidesync will not work at all on it. As soon as it loads it disconnects. I have run the compatibility trouble shooter and it says it is an incompatible program. Is there any help i can get with this please? I asked Samsung about this and after checking the system requirements are met in Windows 10 they said refer this issue to Microsoft.

I use EasyTeather program on my computer to connect to my S8 with the Easy Teather app so i can get internet access on my computer. I upgraded my computer from Windows 8. I have another equivalent machine with Windows 8. Using a smart phone sometimes will not apply the plug and play function on your computer.

On my Windows 10 i have Dropbox which loads when i start the computer and logon. I noticed today when Sidessync kept disconnecting after loading that Dropbox would restart each time and it clicked on my that this program might be the culprit so I closed it! After did this and ran Sidesync again, volla! The Phone screen loads and I can do the things I want to one the phone.

I am not sure why Dropbox interfers in this way but I have disabled it to start up when i logon to the computer for now. Thanks for your help anyway! I thought u might be able to help.. When it dies not connect I usually have to close the apps both on my cell and pc then it connects.

This Is very frustrating. Makes sure the app and the PC side software are up to date. I dont know what windows versiin you are in but maje sure all the windows updates are done and also that you cell OS, i.

Important: If possible, reproduce the problem s after clicking Begin monitoring or Start capture near the end of the form; Stop monitoring when you're done.
